Pears

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

This years pears was few but I managed to get a few, and saw this recipe and did get to try it.

That way I didn't have to peel them, I took a Mellon scoop and got the center out and filled it it with a marinade of herbal vinegar butter and twin brown sugar, baked them for a while and swapped it again with the marinade and baked them for a while longer. They sure were good added with the the rest of my lunch.
