This is what I do every day, make dish rags and give to my friends and care givers. It's a lots of fun and keeps me busy with my hands since my feet and legs want go for me.

birthday lunching

This was my 94 birthday with a few friends that came  that day. My daughter served them cornbread and soup for lunch, with a red velvet cake.
They all got a dishrag that I crocheted.

Dish Rag_

This is a dish rag, in case there is a lots of people out there that don't  there is such a thing. I crochet them while I am recuperating from a bad case of pneumonia, and give them to my friends when they come by.
They are crocheted from cotton thread and a size 8 crochet hook. Makes a darn good, what ever you call it.

a new  produce stand  on route 41 in Brimingham he has fresh veggies right out of the garden and right close to the stand. All organic and at a good price, who would stop by to see such a nice looking young man.

 The yellow lantana goes good with purple-petunias but I did not plant that way. The petunias came up on their own by the wind that blew them from the back of the house.

This is what you called the knock roses and I am pleased to have them in front of my window. The will bloom all most all the summer and they sure do brighten up the lawn.

I have often thought I would like to have lived for a day or so back when this went on, I think it would have been real interesting to see how every one  survived back in that age.

My daughter has claimed sewing as her hobby so this is some of the things she has made for the grandchildren.

This is an old time rose found near a grave yard on my sister-law's place. Since I put it out, several years ago, it has climbed all the way up a pine tree.

This is one of the trees that I have that has a purple bloom on it and the other one has white, I do not know the name of it but am sure there is difference in the trees. Maybe some day I will learn.

Mustard and Persimmons

This is mustard green planted in early spring for a fresh salad and      was very tasty; mixed with fresh spinach and lettuce.
The fruit was fall fruit and gathered in my area in November.
